On pirate day we had to dress up as real life pirates. We did all sorts of pirate games like word searches, crosswords and other good games. First lesson we did our Big Writing, but it was fun because it was about pirates. You had to pretend you were a pirate and you were going to fight your first battle.

Then after playtime class 2 and 3 did a treasure hunt.  It was great - there was hidden clues and you had to find them so you would have more clues as to where the treasure was.  The buried treasure was chocolate gold coins. When we finished the hunt we all got our pictures taken.

The World Book Fair for 2010 begins week commencing 1st March 2010.  Children will all receive book tokens and will be invited to bring their fsavourite books into school for reading practice.
